You bought a pencil grip and your children or students are using it for everything but to write. When our children are starting to use the pencil grip we need to be aware that this is a new skill they are learning. What I want parents and teachers to know that when we are introducing this new tool, we can’t pretend the child is ready to start writing words. Surprise?
This video will teach you the proper way to introduce the pencil grip to your children, which hand muscles they are developing and super easy activities to start practicing now.
Don’t forget to grab your Developmental Playbook. In this Playbook you will learn how to help your child with their fine motor skills, gross motor skills and visual skills and my favorites activities to try at home, school, everywhere!
